How do those work and what do they acheive? the spacers i mean..

i ripped off my blinkers so i'd be fine with just the break lights.. i think in VA and DC your break and running light need to be red so i can't get the dark greys like i'd like...

E-bay has fender eliminators for 14.99 plus shipping they look great are made out of aluminum and you can also put your turn signals on them they are worth the money when i cut my cheese grater i drilled some small holes under the tail light so light would shine on the plate at night this avoids a ticket for no license plate light from the po-po

I went to Lowes and bought 2 L shaped brackets.... put them in the vice and bent them to the angle i wanted then attached them to the same 2 screws that attach the back end to the rest of the bike.

Forgot to add that had to cut the L bracket to size with a dremmel so it didn't stick out past the license plate

i did exactly what thaloc did it is simple cheap and looks good keeps the plate up and out of the way of any moving parts . i really dont care if light gets on it for the five0 to see they can see it just fine in the day light and when there head lights hit it at night. i think we have the same law in Idaho and ive never been pulled over for the plate

I literally chopped and bent up the old rear reflector brackets and used them with LED plate lights.
