Just wondering what you guys use to lift the front and back end off the ground? While keeping it balanced.

I don't want to put pressure on the exhaust even though that is what the HD shop told me to do.....
 
If it's the stock exhaust, it's rate as a lifting point. I'd use it.

Currently, I use the edge of my Micron (gingerly) to lift the rear on the sidestand or i steady the rear with a pair of 1/2" hex keys stuck in the axle set on jackstands for the front.
 
in the rear i lift under the oil tank using a small pump jack and a cut small to fit 2x4 block
in the front a standard fork stand
