I bought a 2007 STT off the dealer floor in January 2012. 14 miles on the odometer. After riding nearly 8000 miles, I decided to do an X change so now I have a transgender Uly. Nothing major just a few ergo adjustments and added luggage capacity.
Uly handlebars, Oxford heated grips, Throttlemeister throttle lock. I had already added a Madstad adjustable windscreen and 70 liters of luggage capacity.
I really like the multi-purpose result. Adequate ground clearance and suspension travel for gravel, UFS roads and North Carolina washboards combined with superior sport bike qualities for the twisties of the Blue Ridge, Great Smokies and farm roads. I'm hoping that Michelin PR2s front and rear will produce a doubling of tire mileage - the Pirellis were not good for more that 3,500 miles which works out to 10 cents a mile tire cost.
