I'm gonna be playing with vinyl wrapping the windscreen on my Lightning, but wondering what I should do with the emblem.
I COULD wrap around it.. it'll be a bit of a pain. And I think i prefer the cleaner look of no emblem.
Can i remove it using heat/dental floss/goo gone, just like most stickers/emblems... or is there an epoxy under it? I know the "X" on the air boxes sometimes have some nastiness that is not repairable under them, which is why the emblem worries me.
I have a spare screen, both are translucent. Although I plan to wrap... i'd PREFER to not mess up the screen in case i want to sell it later. I hear the kick-ash is fairly hard to find for some reason.
Also, anyone know of any way to fill the spider-web cracking around bolt holes? Surely there's a glue or epoxy that would wick into the crack and fill it, right?
