I'm thinking of putting a set of factory Ulysses XT side bags on my Lightning, for a few trips I have planned for next summer.
Has anyone mounted these on their Lightning before, I can make my own brackets or just buy the Uly ones (and modify them) but I thought if someone has done this maybe they could share some ideas.
Thanks

I put a set on my lightning long using modified stock mounts. There's just enough room for me with them on and forget about any passengers. Best of all I didn't have to move the turn signals.

Thanks for the pics, it looks good, can you post some pics of the brackets.

It was done with the help of a friend that has a welder. We started off cutting off all three stock mounting points and repositioned them. Then the hardest part was making the other side match the first side. When everything matches and the welding is done I just ground off the last of stock mounts welds and slapped on some paint.
