Ya mines being UPSd to my guy as we speak. Getting glacier black on the header. Good to really high heat and cool to the touch. Don't plan on touching my pipes but I'm tired of frying my leg.

I figured Cerakoting the plastics would protect them from exhaust heat and be more durable than paint. I want ceramic or powder coat my exhaust and cerakote the plastics. My local guy says he can only do a flat white, the rep from cerakote said they should be able to do high gloss. Those SOC fairings aren't the most expensive, but they ain't the cheapest either. I'll e-mail Backwoods Custom Coatings and see what they think.
Backwoods has all kinds of fancy colors. The color is secondary to heat reduction for me. I just chose a black that'll stay the coolest. My bike is black too tho so it all goes together. I'm sure there's plenty of colors out there that would work just as well for some.
