My ride home from college is about 3 hours and I've been going home almost every weekend lately. The first couple times my legs got sore, but now I make it no problem. I think the key to riding long distance is building up to them.
Not on my XB but my buddy and I went to Sturgis last year. I was on my 2008 Streetglide with danny gray solo seat and my buddy was on an old Big Dog.
We knocked the trip out in 2 days logging 835 miles on day one and 735 on day 2. We were beat but in a good way. The trip home was about the same although we went back a different route. In all it was 3600 miles in 4 days with days in between in the black hills and northern idaho.
My buddy and I have a combined age of 109 years... Now turn off the computer and go ride. [up]
