Looking at the Blast

Hello everyone. I've been kicking around the idea of getting a Blast for a while now. I currently have a Ducati Multistrada 1200 and would use the Blast just for dinking around and commuting. Was looking for a smaller sporty bike, light weight and good mpg. Blast seems to fit the bill. I'm on the tall side at 6'2" and 240lbs but should still fit on the Blast comfortably with maybe a new set of bars. We'll see. Haven't ridden or sat on one yet so not really sure. Anyway, I'll post pics if I find one I like.

i would go with an xb9

i would get the blast if i was you. you can get footpegs with a 1 inch drop which should make it more comfortable for tall people

I like the XB9 but really want a Blast and there are a few for sale around here that are bone stock and very low miles. I'm just buying it to have fun on and something that won't cost a ton to operate (get enough of that from the Ducati). The Blast just seems like a fun little bike to cruise around on.

I'm 6'1" and 210 lbs, first bike was a stock Blast, last year. It's a lot of fun, easy to ride, but I feel I was at the very edge of the height/weight for comfortability. Just my $.02
