I'm getting ready to design some helmet brackets for the XB12R/XB9R.

It would really help if I had an actual bike to take some measurements and test things on.

If you're somewhere close to Colorado Springs and can help me out, I'll throw in a free set of brackets when they're done.

I'm up in Thornton (NE suburb of Denver). You could swing by to take measurements if you're ever in the Denver area. I'd take a ride down, but you know it's snowing and like 5 degrees outside.

I could get out my micrometer and take measurements if you let me know what you want measured

Thanks Randy, I might hit you up for test-fitting before the final run. I hear you in this 5 degree crap... But at least there's snow.

Dave - Measurements would be much appreciated! [up]

I'll just need the thickness of that bar, top to bottom, and front to back.

I'll also need to know how much of a "gap" there is between the bar and the rear fairing just behind it. I need to make sure the brackets will fit through the opening.

No problem Tim. Just reply, send a pm, whatever. I'm usually around. I just thought I'd offer because I have not seen many Firebolts on the roads around Denver in the nearly 2 yrs I've been out here.
