Hello all! i just joined because this seems to be a good place to look for my next obsession. i used to have an 1125R and loved it but sold thinking i wanted something faster. ive gone through a ktm rc8r a zx14 and now a zx10r but i miss the buell. well im wanting to find an xbs in good shape with reasonable miles. looking to spend about $4000.it would have to be within riding distance from nashville or you would have to be willing to ship. although i am new here you can check out my ebay history under jaisy204207. also im selling the 2007 zx10r for around $5500 and would do a partial trade plus cash if anyone has an extra xbs and wants an INSANELY FAST jap bike .

Say what?

Another on the way with 80k, I plan to run the piss out of it.

For what it is, $3200 may seem high, but it's a solid bike with a lot done to it. Went through the motor 1.5 yrs ago at Christmas, still has the original crosshatches in the cylinder bores. Has the wideband MTX-L's on it, custom exhaust made by yours truly, decent (newer) tires, etc. Currently makes 83 hp to the wheel, 70 ft/lbs. Not many stock motor xb9's make that much, especially with the medium mileage on it. It's right there with a stock xb12 for power. Rode it to work today just to ride it again. I'm too big on it really @ 6'1" & 230 lbs. That said, it drags my ass all over the place just fine.

holy cr@p that is amazing! have you overhauled the motor a few times? what year is that uly? i know they made some improvements in 08.

i am happy to say i picked up an 04 xb12s with 12000 miles. all stock and and very clean. thanks everyone for responses and hats off to you mr adams. i see you are a small business man and engineer of sorts too.

Both Ulys are 06, rings seized to the piston when I pulled motor apart. Poor maintenance I suppose. Every motor I've pulled apart with good maintenance has still had factory cross hatches (13k-70k miles)

Everyone should research each model & updates before buying.
