I'd call em, give em your top dollar and say give me a call if you don't want it to be sitting on your floor next season.
I got my first 1125 at a dealer, a harley dealer at that. I threw at them the fact that parts and repairs can be a nightmare, the fact that the cr's are prone to so many electrical issues, has it had its updates? If they are a harely dealer? 99% of harley dealers dont want want it sitting on their floor, let alone coming back for service.
Throw all the cons out there, I did (even though I knew I wanted it the whole time) Make them realize you are taking a "problem" off their hands.
Give them your top price and you're phone number and tell them you are gonna look elsewhere. Bottom line is, they are asking way more than KBB or NADA.
Just my two cents. My first 1125r i talked them down from 6900 to 5100 out the door.
Good luck!
