Losing power

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

not sure if related, but i had a smiliar issue, my power would kinda go out, and come back on. Turned out to be a loose ground wire.
but as Silver suggested, a code would be your best bet as far as finding the issue.

It would also help disclosing what year, what engine, how many miles and the mods on the bike.
Just saying you're losing power at 75mph could elicite ridiculous responses such as: left off the brake at that speed, Or to refrain from pulling the clutch at that specific speed. You get what I'm saying?
The more information you give us the more accurately you're issue can be diagnosed.
This loss of power only happens in 5th?
Is the bike properly warmed up?
Have you messed with your fuel mapping recently?
How old is the battery?
What's your oil and primary fluid level?
Have you adjusted your clutch recently?
Info pal, more info.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well said Stripn. Could this Be CHICAGO ??
