Hey guys,

Im looking to lower my 2008 Buell XB12R... Can someone please help me out as to how to do this!? I've been researching like a mad man but coming up empty handed.

i have been reading on other threads that guys are using xb12scg shocks but i haven't seen any pictures. I am curious as too how much it will be lowered using that shock.

pipe clears going around corners, it's the dang speed bumps that will...have to cross them at an angle slowly if you can't go around 'em, had to do that before swapping my suspension to the standard setup...you can look at pinwall cycles on evilbay, they usually have a shock or two for $50, forks as well, but you may have to contact them directly to verify the forks are the "low" ones, rear shock is easy to spot due to the color of the spring being yellow, good luck

That purple bike has the forks slipped alot, and it has a Ss swingarm that looks to be without the shock mount being modified or a shock extender on it.

Anyone had experience with adjusted the preloaded spring on the bike first before cutting or buying another model? If so could you get a few inch out of it....and what's the histpry behind slippin forks [up] or [down] ? Thanks for all the help yall
