Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any close up pics of the LSL Superbike Handlebar Kit installed on a Firebolt?

From what I can see on the LSL website their standard kit comes with clamps for 22mm bars. These can be swapped out of the kit for larger 29mm fat bar clamps which is want I want to do but I'm not sure if the larger diameter bars will then foul against the top of the forks?

Hope this question makes sense, any insight/help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen the LSL kit, but I saw someone on here who used bar adaptors to put the larger bars on their firebolt and it didn't hit the forks. The adaptors rise the bars up a little as it is.

LSL was at Americade and I talked to the guy there briefly about the kit. They had a good 5-10 bars on the rack and I asked if I would be able to swap for a different one.

He said no. There's only so much room available and they picked the bar that fit.

Thanks for the input guys.

It's still kinda confusing though. I emailed LSL/Spiegler and they said I could swap the stock riser mounts on the kit for ones that will fit fat bars but it still seems like a lot of guess work without actually having a kit on the bike to play with. I did find some close up pics of the clamp (below) and I think the Driven Carbon Cr Low bars I have in mind will in fact clear the top of the fork tubes. Worst case scenario I use their standard riser mounts and bars.

BlackandChrome - I wonder if the the guy at Americade was thinking more about fairing clearance?
