Oh...I don't know if you're being sarcastic or if you're serious, but to answer your question, axle sliders serve the same purpose as frame sliders or fork sliders - they are intended to help protect the valuable components of your bike (frame, forks, swingarm, engine cases, etc.) from damage in the case of the bike going down.
