I recently realized I was bored with the look of my site so I gave it a little bit of a facelift. What do ya'll think?

http://www.pinkgorillacycles.com/

While on the subject, do you find it easy to navigate and find products? Any brands you'd like to see? Other critiques/feedback?

Also, don't forget to ask me about standard 'buellxb' discounts! ;)

I don't really recall what the website looked like before - but it looks really nice now. It's clean, and functional. I think it's pretty easy to navigate, as well. Nice going!

Is this your day job, or a side thing?

A buddy and I are in the middle of trying to start our own company, while working full-time jobs to pay the bills. I am always interested in how other people got started and how it is running your own show.

I love the new website, very modern looking. I am personally a fan of speed and strength gear. I mean I won the free gloves from your giveaway but they are fantastic gloves!

I love your store and bought multiple helmets / gloves from your store. you have always been good to me and my fiancé. thank you and yes your "facelift" is very nice. its always nice to change it up everynow and again.

Not that it's any of my business, but whatever happened with that lawsuit or whatever it was?

Burton,

I did the same thing at first and operated it as a 2nd job while working a full time job. It seems to have paid off and I've been doing Pink Gorilla full time for the last 2 years. I absolutely love it and would not trade it for the cube farm in a million years. Email me if you think there's anything I can help you with to get your business started..

J20/BurningExample, Thanks for your support!

Looks good! The only issue I have is that the background color behind the nav bar (Home, Contact/Locate..) and (Helmets and Apparel, Accessories...) Does not show up in Opera Browser. Works fine in IE, Firefox. I always hate when I build sites and things look different from browser to browser..

Thanks for the bug report on Opera. I'll have to look into it. I thought opera used the standard webkit css.

IE is the worst at trying to make your website work on. IE10 is much better although I had to make a bunch of updates to gradients as soon as it came out.

Hey XL...

Do you mind PM-ing me your email address?

I would love to hear more about how you started and when you made the jump. I would love out of the cube farm. Even though I love the people here, I want to work for myself.

Great website !! ... nice prices on the gear too !! ... No icon gear tho? ... I was looking in there specifically for an airframe price or another one of their leather jackets to go with the one I've already got ...

Also ... just a side note about the function of the site (this definitely isn't a gripe at all, more of just a nit picky thing)... would it be possible for you to enable some way to swap between the pictures availble in the "quick look" function ? ... I clicked the "quick look" button on a few jackets and couldn't swap between the pictures without backing out of the little page it opened up with the picture ... I'm using IE ... If that helps any ...

EDIT: ALSO .... I will be bookmarking that sight for my next gear purchase ... you had some really good prices on there that I saw ... [up]

I'll have to check the quick look bug. I also recently noticed that IE10 doesn't work with the overlay when clicking the quicklook or the pictures.

If any of you are needing some gear and Wes(xl_cheese) sells it through his store I highly recommend contacting him. Just picked up a bell star helmet with a solfx shield. It arrived extremely fast and he takes care of fellow buell riders. Now I just need the rain to stop.

Site does look good. Nav is easy. There was a little strangeness when trying to apply a filter to an exhaust search; there seemed to be some overlap between the "apply" button and the toolbar at the top of the page.
