Magnaflow 11148 modded pipe FS.

Yeah, it's a pair of 2" internal tubes, they're smashed together though. From magnaflow, they're pretty rough looking inside, I cleaned this one up a lot. This is before I did any cleanup work. Mig wire was sticking out in several places, lots of burrs and rough surfaces all over.

Here's all the pics I took of it when I built it.

pretty good lookin pipe for the price[up].GLWS!

I dontknow about the HP gains since D&D shows a 4horse increase from stock to there pipe with tuning and a K&N. I say that bcuz the internals are very similar. Not tryin to start an argument, 8 just seems like alot, but im not a dyno:D

They're actually not very similar--the Magnaflow's body also acts as part of the chamber, unlike the D&D's that utilize "only" two straight tubes. I could have bought any exhaust, but the sound and appearance was very important to me. These Magnaflow-based systems sound very, very good, with no "tinniness" or whiny sounds... Deep, throaty, authoratative rumbles... LOL! Most of these have dyno'd with at least an 8HP improvement--mine is at least as much. The D&D is not known as a huge power maker. I'm not knocking them, just stating what I've read and experienced.

Now, factor in the "custom" nature of D_Adam's exhaust (and GB's, for that matter), and the fact that this particular unit is powder coated black AND you can talk to the maker, AND that he's outlined what care he took in manufacturing it--unparalleled customer service and satisfaction is what it adds up to. My .02

Quality will be top notch I can assure you. The keda I won is top notch. And will be going on the dyno hopefully in the next week or two to get some more numbers for him. Just getting the tuning dialed in.

This is the actual pipe, I've had it since maybe Dec of 2010. Built it in Jan of 2011. It's pretty mellow at idle, pretty close to stock in sound, at least to me anyway. Anything above 2500-3000 rpm, it's a totally different sounding bike.

I guess if you're looking for screaming loud, this isn't it. It's got a good rumble with a little bit of wild to it, but it's not like straight drag pipes. The d&d pipe is a little louder, but it doesn't sound the same, I guess they're hollow with no packing at all? The d&d sounds tinny to me, but that's just my opinion.

The magnaflow is just a tiny bit quieter at idle than mine from what I remember. Overall, mine are louder everywhere, but at idle, both are very close to a stock pipe. 5-6k rpm, mine are definitely louder.

Agreed. Keda at idle is about the same as all the others. @3000 i would say its "noticeably louder" than any other pipe I've heard in person.

I stand corrected i didnt realize. I suppose that would make a significant difference in sound and performance.
