How much for just the down pipe?

This is something I would be interested in as well. I have the muffler and have planned on making something similar, but I don't have a welder at the moment and purchasing a down pipe would really help move things along. I would rather get it from someone in the XB community than elsewhere.

Regardless, nice looking pipe and it sounds good [up]

You can get the muffler (magnaflow 11148) from just about any automotive aftermarket shop, summit racing, jegs, etc. I assume you can get them on ebay as well, I've never looked.

No, I don't sell parts, sorry. I put in my time to figure out what works and what doesn't and how to make it. It's not a secret, you can see exactly what I've done and I've posted plenty of pics as they were made. The muffler itself is the cheap part, they're under $100 for one.

Good! You shouldnt! That "down/J pipe" prob one of the more difficult pieces to make, which is why most people would rather buy a bolt on then fab their own. Wev all seen the quality work Dean does, the man should get paid for it. Want a bad ass system make your own... Or buy one of his.

These are made up but prob not far off from my own research.
Muffler- $60ish
Tips- $50 pushing the cost
Coating- $50 this is an exact quote i got for some headers.
Then hour to weld that up- $95/hr shop rate. Thats $255 value in parts and shop time for muffler.
J-pipe/down pipe- $20 material
Labor/tweaking 2.5hrs ($95/hr)- $240 rounded total value $515 deans approval $30 cause hes a bad ass.

$545 or a down pipe $260 of that.

Not to take food out of your mouth.......but for the cheap skate, mufflers $48 at cost (work a deal with the muffler shop that doing your welding) a jardean down pipe new is $35.
muffler shop will charge you $45 to weld the tips on and two spacers to hold it square.
So for roughly $130

If you want to spend $50 more, you can get the jack plate/chin bracket from d&d and cut it shorter and weld it to the front of the magnflo and have a chin guard.

Hey Squidbuellie...we talked on those tuber and drag parts..been callin but can't get ya...are they still available? Thanks

The cheapest 11148 I'd seen was about $75 or $80 but I wasn't looking too hard. Good luck getting a new jardine downpipe for $35, much less getting one at all from them.

Your local muffler shop can certainly weld the stuff together on the cheap, but it won't look anything like this.

Yeah, you know what that is squidb, it will be headed your way when it's done.

Dean try making a deal with a high volume exhaust shop you can get the Magnaflow for a bit less

So after supposedly missing the delivery (yet I was home the whole time) and driving around for three hours because fed ex wouldn't put me in contact with the driver... I finally found A DRIVER! Had him get in contact with the driver with my package and met up with him... So I'll have pics and video up very soon!!!
