What was wrong w the one u saw on clist the other day?
Most retail signs I've seen still use a light box from old school fluorescent bulbs. Buell only supplied the face for whatever sign dimensions the dealer spec'd.
Chicago I would be kinda weary about LED's behind that sign, they "yellow" most plastics. As mentioned above, I believe most signs of that nature used fluorescents, although I've seen them yellow plastics as well but nowhere near as bad as LED. Good luck and post pics.
Im sure any local sign shop would be more than glad to answer your questions w a bit more knowledge than us buelligans. But again I've seen LED's turn plastics a nasty yellow
