These boots are used, but in serviceable shape. They're an all-leather, fully-lined "sporty" boot, with toe sliders (replaceable), adjustable calf, velcro over zipper closure (full length), half-height gaiter, ankle and shin armor, and carbon fiber inserts on the shins and ankles.
I wore them as my regular boot orginally, and they're as comfortable as wearing slippers on the bike. Great control feel. Good to walk in, but not dual sport heavy duty. They ended up being my track boots, and then my sportbike boots when I got something else. They've been in the closet for a couple years.
Until I took the pics, I didn't realize that there was some cracking of the gloss coating over the CF on the outside of the ankles. It's pretty minor, but I wanted to point it out:
Also, there are small cracks in the stress zone of each sole on the outer 1/4. These do not appear to go through to the footbed; if I was wearing them, I'd repair it with either black RTV silicone or Shoe Goo.
These were originally about $279, IIRC. I'm looking to push together the dollahs for a new pair of Sidis; Asking $50, shipped, in the CONUS, or if you want to pick them up west of Charlotte NC and bring beer, we can work something out. :deal
PM me with any questions or for more pics. My direct email is dmac at shelby dot net; I'm not on the forum as often as I used to be. Thanks!
