I have had a couple of faults for my vss, the speedo always seems to work fine.
I pulled the sensor and found some metal stuck to the end, no shavings or chunks, just a thick anti-sieze looking paste.
The bike is new to me, has only 8000 miles on it.
Is this something to worry about?
