YES!!!! I just scored a near ( ones scuff on the front that I can hide with ceramic coasting )mint micron exhaust for $500 cash . polishing garage grime off of it now to install on my 09 xb12ss SAWEET!!!!

Check for rattles in the muffler before you have it coated. They have a tendency to break apart inside.

The good part is, they are repairable if you don't mind cutting apart the shell. Good find for the price!

I will only be coating the headers not the muffler itself and I am sending the muffler to be tigged to quell the rattles

Let me know if you need it done, I've fixed a few of them.

So it took about 2 hours to do the whole pipe . i did not rotate the motor.
1>remove shock
2>remove fan
3>removeo2 sensor
4>remove flange nuts 1/4 drive will be needed for lower rear flange nut
5> rotate rear head pipe till pipe slides out
6> retrace process in reverse with micron

I picked up the Micron from the Ebay auction. I'm trying to decide if I can get through the rest of the season without the front tabs... I didn't even know it was supposed to have them before seeing a picture of the muffler on here.

Getting a good micron is such a buzz, riding it on your bike is the buzziest! Here in NZ they are rarer than rare, and a guy who knew nothing bought an xb with a new set on...he didn't like the 'loud' so traded my mate for $400 and his stock...then my mate had to sell his bike so I had dibs and got it for the same...that's 400NZD, about 320USD for the full set, nothing missing in near new condition. My only mistake was not HiPer coating the headers b4 putting on my bike, which I'll do in 2weeks time. Also got the xopti map for the pipes which is pretty good. What are you using racer X1 and way? I also still have it mapped to the stock ECM on my uly.
