Hi gang, I have a full Micron exhaust fitted to a 2007 XB12R and after 45,000 kms the front mounting brackets on the muffler decided to break, not much further down the road the rear hanger strap also decided to break.
My question is this, I can get the front brackets rewelded but can I get a rubber antivibration bushing to fit in the cylindrical mount cast into the bottom of the motor as the original is solid.
Secondly, I used to see advertised rear aftermarket hanger straps that were gaurenteed not to break but I can no longer find them. Any help would be much appreciated.

Rubber mount on an xb exhaust is probably not good, you'll end up snapping off header studs. Yes, the muffler can be repaired, I've done several of them. I posted pics of the internal repairs as well as repacking them. Just use new stock straps, EBR carries them, they're $9 each last time I looked. I think (could be off on this) they are 7.5" OD straps.

Thanks mate, you are probably right about the rubber mounts and I have just ordered 2x muffler straps from EBR, thanks again.
