Mileage - WOW!

So after riding my bike on my 135-mile per day round-trip work commute for three days now, I am getting 56 miles per gallon! That is insane!

All the more reason I am loving the bike so far!

Yup yup, I am very surprised. The guy I bought it from said I'd be looking at maybe 40MPG. I guess he didn't do an all-highway commute every day.

mine is actually bout the same as my car, but over here we mostly drive diesel, which is cheaper.

My Jeeps get around 15mpg if i'm lucky. [down] Then again, my shop is 3 miles from my house [up]

I drive,or schould I say drove, a Honda Element to work.It would take about 1/2 a tank to get to work and back a day.A 130 to 135 miles round trip,started riding my XB9R,takes only 2 gallons a day.Right now I am saving about $200 to $275 a month in gas.Only yet another reason to love my Buell!
