minor color question

I was wondering whether anyone new the official name for this color. I have looked around quite a bit and haven't managed to find a picture or color description to match.

Doesn't appear to be factory. If it is painted, it's not factory. All XB's are color molded plastic. Look on the inside of of the airbox, should be the the factory color, unless they painted both sides.

Definetely not factory. Looks like a black cherry that was on a Cadillac I once owned.

Ok thanks. It is a 2004 so I imagine it must have been the red or black.

it's painted. if you want to know what the stock color was remove the simplest component like air-box cover, flip it over, scratch off a small portion of the paint and it will reveal the factory color in the plastic.
