minor rash carbon fiber right side scoop

all ASB carbon they are 270 new

I bet the bit of rash can be fixed but I am not that talented with resin, worst case you can paint it like the fiberglass scoops that go for 230 on asb

I would like 100 for this one or best offer

for scale a nickel can cover 99% of the rash

the pink outline was done by the insurance co it rubs off with your thumb

Is this RS scoop for the 08+ models with the different headers?

on american sport bike it says "This will not fit with the Micron header, or the 08+ European header. "

so it looks like it may fit the 08 US header?
you could always call ASB to be sure.

and if somebody wants both sides carbon fiber you can always make me an offer for my left side scoop, it has zero rash. same for my oil cooler scoop. (unless you have an 08+ there are others available for that from ASB) but I probably wont sell it for that much less because I may go back to carbon fiber if my paint idea doesn't pan out like I hope.

yea its a hard core piece no doubt about that.

I'll sell the left side for 200 and shipping it is a few years old but zero scratches

how does it all look on your bike?
did the clear coat fix the rash?

and for reference the ASB carbon fiber is the best I have ever seen with the possible exception of bicycle forks and frames, but even there it is close. the scoop took a BIG hit when my bike fell on it and it didn't crack at all.

PS I decided to go back to carbon fiber on the bike, I think my oil cooler scoop may be faded a bit more than the new stuff (whenever it arrives) so if anybody wants it make me an offer, other than some sun fade (very minor but it is 4-5 years old after all) it is flawless.

I will most likely be selling my Buell brand carbon fiber huger for an ASB part, the huger isn't as precise of a fit as I hoped.

Ya, the ASB stuff is top quality!

I havent had time to fix the RSS scoop yet. The rash is deper then I'd hopped, it will require some resin build up then clear coating.
