Recently picked up an 09 xb9sx, gotta stand on my tippy toes at the stoplights. I think mine has the Streamline seat. Looking to try out one of the low seats before I purchase, or also buy an upgraded Baldwin with the gel seat. Anyone in MN with one they are willing to meet or rent out? I live in Forest Lake and work in Roseville.

Hey wayne,

great to see there is a Bueller in the area. I don't currently own a Buell, yet. But I live in Minneapolis and work near Plymouth. If I end up nailing one down this summer, we will have to go for a ride!!

Hi Burton - It's actually Brett, my user is just a nickname for when I'm on the ice... I had a hell of a time finding a decent Buell in the area, and they sell quick on Craigs. Specifically the Lightnings, didn't want a Bolt.

My bad. If i read your name closer, I probably could have figured out your name was Brett.

Mine is Zach. They do go quick around here, there aren't many to choose from, either.

If I pull the funds together and find a decent ride this summer I will look you up and we can go ride.

Also, post pictures of your bike!

I also ride an 01 Sporty with a Buell 1203 engine, 115 hp, lowered and bobbed.

dude! that's your harley? You have had that thing on CL before, haven't you? Me and a buddy were looking at it some time ago - my buddy really wanted to buy it, but didn't have the funds. It looks great.

The Buell looks even better - sharp bike!

It will probably be for sale again. I have an 07 883 that I'm going to try to sell first. I was thinking of just keeping the 883 as a cruiser, but my 01 is ridiculously fast, and couldn't give up the better looking bike.

Yeah, the sporty pretty much has the look I was going for back when I had my sporty.

Pretty nice collection you have there!

Follow up, St Paul Harley let me try a low seat, it sucks. Little bit wider and maybe let me plant an extra .25 inch of my feet. Looks like I'm investing in a custom seat instead of investing in scg suspension.

Burton, if your buddy is interested, I think I'm gonna sell my sportster previously pictured. GF moved in and wants a garage spot before winter hits.

Have you tried slipping your suspension yet? I would think that the Scg suspension would get you a lot closer to the ground then a custom seat would.

That was my other plan, slip the forks, and either get an scg shock or get my shock trimmed... Not that I'm racing around a track or getting knee deep in twisties, but a little concerned about the ride...?? Or would it basically remain the same?
