2003 Buell Blast 492cc.

About 8600 miles, but currently riding it.

TOPEND-
'Super boot' between carb and intake
Mild porting to blast cylinder head
Match ported the intake elbow between carb and head
Head decked .030" for improved compression
Polished valves, chamber, and piston top

VALVETRAIN/CAMS-
Has XB cams installed
RevPerf valve spring kit for the added lift of the XB cams

ENGINE-
Stock jug recently torque plate honed with new piston rings, new head and base gasket

Current cylinder compression readings: (I'll get this in a day or two)

EXHAUST-
Custom stepped header and spiralflow straight-through muffler
Includes welded in o2 sensor bung and o2 sensor

ERGONOMICS-
Custom rear set pegs
Modified tuber shifter linkage for comfortable shifting
Fly Racing MX bars with Renthal grips and Ulysses handguards

LIGHTING-
LED taillight with integrated turn signals. Kept the stock turn signals for added visibility. Installed a projector front lamp and has a Hella bulb in it. Comes with extra bulb. Very bright, good for night riding which is a lot of what I do. I also put black reflective tape on the sides for safety.

AESTHETICS-
Trimmed flyscreen, tail, and belt guard. The bike is "murdered out" with everything blacked, wheels, body, etc. That's pretty obvious from the pics though. Non-mickeymouseears mirrors.

MISCELLANEOUS-
Aftermarket 8mm plug wire
Glowshift tach
Galfer front brake pads

Notes:

The intake tube pictured I built is not included, it's tentatively spoken for. I'll be including the stock airbox and filter, and a velocity stack if you want to go that route. I'd have that on there, but I don't have a filter for it.

With purchase of bike you'll also be getting your pick of any of the original factory parts I have in my parts tub. Stock or low seats, stock handlebars, stock cams, yada yada. Whatever you want from the tub is yours.

The ignition cover will be replaced pre-sale. It fell off on one of my recent rides.

Yes, the oil filter is a startling white. It's a purolator and I didn't bother to spray paint it black this time because I'm going to change the oil and filter pre-sale.

I averaged 52mpg on my 85 mile round trip commute (which is what it's primarily used for).

I love my bike, but it's time for me to get a fuel injected bike and something that fits my body type better.

$3000

I'm in the Roseville, CA area.

Test ride requires a current California motorcycle license (not permit), and you leave your vehicle's keys and your license with me on your ride. I'll follow you in a car if you don't feel comfortable riding without your license.

I'll post a video sometime this week.

Price update: $2500. I understand it's the wintertime now and bikes don't sell as much. Didn't have time for the video yet to hear the exhaust.

Thanks, Lesley, it's a hoot to ride too.

I have since purchased a replacement ignition module cover, and a discerning eye will note that there was a missing bolt that secures the flyscreen to the bike. All of the flyscreen hardware has since been replaced.

I've had a few bites, but nobody serious. : \

Yes, I would ship. I don't really dig the idea of shipping because you can't test ride it, but if you're cool with that then that's fine. Send me a message.

Bought an XB, got lots of lowball offers on the blast. Rode my blast to make sure it was ready for sale to one guy. Decided I like my blast too much and don't want to sell it now. : ) Two bikes is better than one anyway.
