Hello, I'm relatively new to the Buell community, and I have a few quick question about modifying my stock CR.

I finally broke down and purchased new clubman handlebars for my CR. Will the stock brake and clutch lines work with the clubman bars modification? And how about the throttle, is it easy to remove and re-install? I'm currently deployed in Japan and all my parts should arrive when I return next week... just looking for further guidance with my concerns. Appreciate it.

Parts on order:
Keda RT-3 Slip-on
EBR ECM mapped to RT-3
K&N air filter
Clubman bars
Fender eliminator
Bar end mirrors

Break lines yes, they will just be pushed down alittle. Throttle cable is more of a no but you can actually route it were you get no binding so you dont HAVE to change that either.

I know cause i havent changed either for my bike. I bought shorter throttle cable to use but it was giving me so much trouble to route, i went back with the longer cable and found a way to safely route that!

Really appreciate the feed back. I'll figure things out when I return. Surely with all the tinkering I've done with other bikes, it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

Well, I have put everything on the bike I mentioned up top, and man were those clubman bars interesting to put on. They're all aligned and whatnot, but the clutch and brake lines... jeez, what a pain. I guess there's not much I can but readjust things.

Pretty sure while adjusting the brake line I got some air in the line, but no biggie. Over all I'm pleased with the outcome.

Will post pics later*

Please, get that air out of your brake line.  That is a "biggie!"

I know it... I was referring to it's an easy fix. Everything is back to normal... but thanks for the concern. [up]

Oh, before I forget... for those of you that have installed the clubman bars, how about did you configure the brake and clutch lines. (pics if possible)... I'm not exactly thrilled with what I came up with.

Here's a more resent pic of my wip... it's coming along nicely I think. Really love the exhaust, so huge props to Keda! F***ing loud! I'm more comfortable now with clubman bars, and I finally got the ECM reset and running smooth... well, for the v-twin that is.
