alright so a week or so ago i posted about hooking up my new iphone 4 to my scala Q2, but that was a bust. I never got it to connect properly, the phone would recognize the Q2, but would never allow me to connect, I bought the Q2 as a buddy pack, and gave its pair to my best friend. Long story short i was told to do a factory reset with the Q2 by holding the two front butons down untill I got the blinking red light, and then hold the UP volume button down untill the blinking red light alternates between red and blue. I got to that point, but it only alternates lights for a few seconds, then the Q2 shuts itsself off. Next i tried pairing it again assuming the Q2 has forgoten but i get the same problem.... the phone will find the Q2, but wont allow me to connect to it, even when i enter the pin number of 0000 it still wont work....

Does anybody have any advice on that problem again?...

And Second question i have is...

My parents bought me a nuvu 220 as a gift, and i know that the 220 is not able to pair with a phone via BT, but from what i can tell it will pair with my Q2 (or am i wrong with that?).

Personally i would like to be able to hear the dirrections fromt he GPS with my Q2, but i also want to have my iphone connected to the Q2 at the same time so i can have the option to answer phone calls and such while riding.

With the Q2 allow me to connect both the iphone (if i ever get that to work) along with the GPS to it? or is it limited to only having one device paired to it?

When I had my Q2, I used the wire to connect to my iPhone 3gs. If my memory serves me correctly, it would not connect via bluetooth. The G4 is the way to go.[up]
So, the correct sequence to initiate device pairing is to turn on the device and wait for the LED to flash blue three times, release the CTRL button and then immediately press it again and continue holding it down, even after the LED flashes red three times (the normal shut-down signal).
That is from the WBW site..... http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-intercoms/scala-rider-q2/

I know for a fact the G4 will, but the WBW site above says the q2 will too. Read through some of the comments listed and the bottom of the review.
