Appleton, WI to Bismarck, ND: 720 Miles in 13 hours.

Ishpeming, MI to Bismarck ND: 683 Miles, 15 hours.

Both were weekend runs. Left after work (in Bismarck) on Thursday night, stayed in a hotel or with family half way, and finished up the ride on Friday. The way back to Bismarck were both done on a Sunday. The good thing about a long ride like that, after about 6 hours your ass is so numb it doesn't hurt for the second half of the ride.

The most in one day..... roughly 430 twisty kilometers in Tennessee this past June.

And in 5 the days I spent there... a total of 1750kms.

Sore butt and absolute numbness in both hands.... it was tough to even hold up a beer.

I plan on doing an Iron Butt 1000 Mile ride in 24 hours. Just don't know if my fat a$$ can handle it on a Buell.

2 other friends and I are taking a trip to Portland OR. It should be fun. We're stopping at the oregon dunes on the way up. It's going to be a blast. The 3 of us have communication between each other so we wont be bored out of our minds.

We're starting from Monterey CA, and Fresno CA, meeting in Gilroy, stopping in Pleasonton in the bay area. Then doing a high speed burn all the way to the dunes to camp. Then we'll be stopping in Newport for crab sandwiches, and Tillamook for a cheese factory tour and the rest of the way to Portland.
