I feel we should have a thread so people can list their latest motorcycle injuries. I want to hear about other injuries too. After my wreck this year, it certainly has taken some of the fun out of riding as much.

On August 21st 2010

Shattered collar bone
1 cracked vertebrae
1 compressed vertebrae
4 broken ribs
Punctured lung
Small stroke
And a brain tumor found and removed

Bike is back together better than before.

Dirt bike........
3 major fractures in skull
Jaw broke & popped out of socket
Reconstructive dental work
32 stitches holding lower lip to gums
Hole in upper lip
Broken all but 2 ribs
Shattered left wrist 2 time
Left pinky broken 9 times
Right pinky broken 10 times
Cortisone shot in right knee
Cortisone shot in right big toe
Left shoulder dislocated twice.
.................... This was all over a 17 yr period of competitive racing.

I stumped my toe on my kickstand when i walked out in the garage wearing only socks......OUCH !!!

multiple (6-7) tibial plateau fractures
fibia fracture
no tears, asterisks knee braces are highly recommened, they saved my leg!

Been fortunate on the street bike not to do anything but bruise my pride when I dropped my sportster trying a circle burnout.

BUT I really did and it hurt !!!! Was in my boxers , went out to get something and just had to sit on the bike. Lesson learned, wear shoes when I go to the garage half naked and want to have an imaginary ride on the Buell![smirk]

I hit a deer on my Triumph. Both hands broken and scuffed up my knee a bit. Was wearing good gear or it would of been much worse, but my heart was broken with my beloved Thruxton 900 gone.
