Motrax blinkers

does anyone know if the motrax blinkers, (dinkywinkaz) fit the buells? Or does anyone have em? im trying to find out if the thread size is the same as stock and if they will fit our bikes

Someone on here said they have them so i'm sure they fit. I remember this because i really liked the way they looked but I can't find anywhere to buy them.

I have the dinky winkas on my bike. The hole is the same size, but the connectors are a little small to connect tightly so I had to spread them out a little. These are the best pics I have.

i just bought the blinkers and installed them today. as I was installing I plugged the blinker in to test it... and it worked. i disconnected them and installed them the proper way through the holes. I plug them in now. and the dont work at all. both sides. and icing on the cake. the gauge cluster with speedometer,tach, etc. doesnt light up anymore. brake light and headlight still works though

can anybody tell me what has gone wrong?

Fuse of some sort maybe?

definitely a fuse, you might have shorted it while installing them.
Check you fuse box

how exactly did you spread out the motrax blinker wire ends to make them fit tightly?

I just slid a small pick tool into the end and twisted a little until they were spread enough to be tight.

have you had any issues with blown fuses or any other issues with the motrax blinkers. I have had consistent issues with the them since installation.

:a week after those pics i put them on the front aswell,no probs so far,also fitted bar end mirrors,exhaust and torque grips going on tommorrow!yesssssss!

I put dinkywinkas on last season. They are great: small, and light up quite a bit. They fit perfectly fine in the stock blinker holes. I have an ASB chopped tail and the license bracket it comes with has smaller blinker mounting holes though, so I had to drill those out a bit.

The connectors are not correct for the buell though, so I snipped the dinkywinkas' connectors and rewired new ones on that are the right size. Also I had one blinker that was wired incorrectly so after some trial and error I realized I had to wire it ground to power. (The trial result being 3 blown fuses).

That poster with them wired up but not working is exactly what happened to me. A specific fuse blows when you turn the blinkers on. You will have to do as I did and go buy a bunch of them then through trial and error figure out which is wired incorrectly.

I have had no problems blowing fuses. Or any other issues for that matter.

They use bulbs, not leds.

Yeah I have motrax blinkers on my 12 and had to replace the "accessory" fuse after installing them, not sure how it blew, but ever since they have worked great no prob.
