in all honesty i'm surprised this outfit lasted even 10 years. why?
an engine configuration americans have repeatedly rejected for almost 100 years now. ask Guzzi to confirm this.
redefined sticker-shock. priced themselves right out of any potential target market.
fuel mileage even worse than a V-rod NightRod....if that's possible.
in-person consensus of opinion typically was "my God that's ugly."

Motus was the answer to a question no one asked. America had sport bike and sport touring options in the Buell. That didn't last. Americans could buy a refined sport touring v-four in a Honda ST1300. Americans have all kids of choices when it comes to high end, high priced sport touring motorcycles with better track records and better dealer networks. I am not surprised at the Motus demise. It is a tough market to break into and it have been even tougher as the Boomers age out of motorcycling for good.

I didn't think this one was ugly...
