Hey guys, im about to change muffler on my xb9 but ive heard that race exhaust gives u less torque on low rpm and more power on high rpm, i dont want that, since i live in nyc and i dont really need power on high rpm becuase there no place i could ride 100mph so what would be the best aftermarket exhaust choice for more torque at low apr and of coruse better sound, thankss

I think it comes in as a zip file with excel sheets and a text document with pics of the exhausts etc.

We can get this one for you! I use it myself and LOVE IT! It's designed and tuned with street use in mind. It comes with free maps for the 03-07 models for you to use. Free shipping in the CONUS too! :D

TORQUE HAMMER II

I had a Jardine and didn't care for it. It was way to loud for me and the vinyl village. I went with the TH2 and love it. I can use the silencer at night to keep the neighbors happy and take it out during the day to make a little noise.

I don't believe the Drummer is hollow. Everything I've seen shows a screen and some perimeter packing. From what I can tell, the THII has some perforated tubing in it with perimeter packing. It's probably not the loudest exhaust out there (which is a preference thing I suppose) but it has a great growl to it under load and as XLXB said, it comes with a db killer to quiet it down more if you prefer. It's actually one of the quietest performance XB pipes out there. It's been compared to the Buell race exhaust in loudness.

Here's a video of some testing we performed on it. You can hear the higher revs later in the video, but as I said, the sound differs when under load. I'll have to get some Go-Pro video of it on the street after things thaw here in Western PA.

Any slip on exhaust for an XB will get you pretty close in terms of power. The key is to pair it with the appropriate tune/ecu. Any slip on you install without tuning will hurt performance every time.

I live in NYC too. I run a Jardine on my XB12. There is about 4 inches of snow outside, but when it gets nice again you are welcome to come check it out. I have done quite a bit of mods, checkout my YouTube page under my profile.

Gregoxb, ya man its snowing a lot, ill check your youtube page in a bit, and yah when it gets better we can gather with some other buellers from around nyc and go for a ride
