I was walking into the dealership thats two freaking blocks from my house and noticed a new sign out front.

I must say I found some interesting things out with those 2 sexy honeys sitting side by side.
There were many "inconsistencies" between the two. I didn't check the Vin's for sequence or anything but...
I sat on one and noticed the clip-ons were completely different, one was an aftermarket set, the other had no name on them and were wider.
I almost cut my hand on the sharp edge of the plastic front fairing too. The $9800 Honda next to it was finished on both sides, but not the EBR?
The steering damper thats right in your face was brushed on one and polished on the other.
Even then 1190 sticker was missing on the engine case. I know It's just a sticker, but if that's missing, what else? That's all I noticed at a glance, I'm sure theres more and it's only BS stuff, but makes me go "Hmmmm."
I also noticed the thin, sexy wheels were just cast? Awesome hubs though... I figured someone as obsessed as Eric about wheel centrifugal forces would not compromise that on a $19K bike.
I swear I'm not hating, I think it's one of the best looking bikes out there (the magnesium side pieces are pure sex) and it should have the performance to match. Is it just because it's a niche company?
I'm not Mr. Crotch rocket, but right across the aisle was a 1199 Duc for less $. For me, it sure would be hard to justify getting the EBR instead.
