Let me know what you guys think of this thing. I think is it all that and a box of rocks, but I want to know what other people really think oabout it. I just baught it Monday. It is my first sports bike, even though I have been on bikes (Harleys) for about 10 years now.

The bike is bone stock other than the plastic swap. It only has 4200 miles on it and has the one spot of rash on the pipe and another small one on the front rim. I picked this thing up off of CL for a measily $5500. I feel like I stole it. That is why I ride it like I stole it.

I look forward to enjoying this thing for years to come and to all the information that you guys share.

I think maybe I've seen this bike for sale on e-bay, I might be wrong. On first seeing the red and white I just about ****, thought it was sooooo cool, and not avaible stock. Sorry,I went out and looked at my stock blue and white and liked it better. However, colour doesn't matter, you're gonna LOVE this thing!!! Wayne.....Oh ya, ya gotta get rid of the blue Firebolt decals, they just don't match!! LOL

As long as it's a Buell, that's all that matters. The rest is just fine print. [up] I have to say though, those blacked out frames have me watering at the mouth everytime I see them. Welcome to the Forum bro.

Ya I have the red firebolt decals ordered. Thanks. Im also thinking of red header tape for the pipes. it cost about 4 times as much as the white and black so I dont know yet. Probably end up with black.

Updated pics of my bike. I put new tires on it today and went ahead and did some other small things to it. I removed the rear pegs and belt guards. I sanded the rear sproket and painted the teeth red.
I have a whole list of things lined up already for the winter.
I have been thinking about painting the frame with the red translucent color. My powder coat is messed up from the retard that tried to clean it with engine degreaser.
I will be doing something with the exhaust. Most likely a custom pipe. Possibly the flat pipe I have been talking about in another post. I will keep updating as things get done.

Sorry I am going to hang on to the rear pegs. My says shes not riding with me, but shes pregnant right now. Im pretty sure it wont be long after that she wants to ride. She sold her bike when she got pregnant. Shed kill me if I told her she couldnt ride.[smirk]
