My buell for a busa?

I thought I wanted an 1125R until I heard about all the stator issues. Also when the 1190 came out I was like "That's what I want" Of course I'll need to have the under $20K consumer model (If and when it comes out)

Consumer Modle 1190 is 40 grand or something
No that's the limited edition homologation models(to quailify for racing)he has out now. 100 only. The "consumer" models will be (supposedly)available in a year or so.

why don't you see many KTM RC8's around. when you see one in person and check retail price you'll know. arguably the ugliest motorcycle in recent memory. the most insane, ridiculously over-powered madman factory bike produced in the past 10 years...that nobody knows about or buys?

there are several around my neck of the woods (sf bayarea) and honestly i have to disagree with you on the looks and price. the buell 1190rs is close to the same look besides the tank frame and they go for $12,000 to 14,000 out the door for last years model and $15,000-$17.000 for this years. i know thats not cheap but how much did the 1125r go for before the fire sale? and i wonder how much the 1190rs will cost? out the door.

sh-t my 05scg was $12,368 out the door with all of the b.s harley dock, prep, detail fees and tax.

boston, I rode my buddies last week and I didn't wanna stop. Such a awesome bike. Been thinking of selling my xb to get one.

Just slap a busa motor in an xb! Problem solved. Except for keeping the front end on the ground or your hind end. :)

Busa or 1125R?

And if they make a consumer 1190R/RS where will they sell it?

They are taking dealer applications on EBR's website. I would think at the independent shops, like the Ducati, Aprilia, KTM and Husky, MV Augusta Moto Guzzi dealer I have down here in San Diego. GP Motorsports and places like that.

Buells are great! I live in the city, and with my Buells on command power and lightning fast throttle response, I can pretty much smoke every one from one light to the next(if i needed to), plus i can weave in and out of traffic and ally's and zig-zag like nobody's biz. It can also stop like no other bike i have ever ridden. Its a wicked city machine. One more thing id like to add is, i shoot up the on ramp and hit over 100MPH by the time i hit the HWY, and its a short on ramp, so my Buell covers all the bases. I have an XB12R and love it. It is sex on wheels.

From what im hearing your just not in tune with your Buell.

So today we get an 08 1125R with 3000 miles on it from auction. Along with a CBR 1000RR and RC51. I ride all 3 for a bit and maybe there's an issue with this 1125 but it feels like steering my old 1969 C20 Chevy long bed with no power steering. Tires looked properly inflated and all but the thing was horrible at parking lot speeds. Any input would be good as I'm selling this bike and would like to make someone happy with it.

Those rc8s are awesome machines, I am totally with squidbuellie there. My next bike will be an rc8r, can't sell the xb tho so gotta wait until I can support 2 bikes and a car

Where is the bike located? I'd be interested in a 3rd 2008 1125R to add to my collection.

San Diego, Ca. Got the tires correct and drove it about 8 miles, what a screamer! Damn nice and freakin fast bike.A few suspension tweaks the way I like it and this bad boy will kill it. I was hesitant to whack it wide open since it had so much torque and I've been driving an 07 Busa and 07 ZX10 the last 4 days, and can only say "Holy Shit Bat Man"! :D

Theirs nothing better then the sound of a Jap bike flying passed.

That's all a matter of opinion. Nothing irritates me more than the sound of an I4. I'm not biased either, my last bike was an I4 and it was a great bike, my next bike probably will be again(with a nice quiet stock exhaust). I think all the goons who live in this city redlining their bike at redlights just for attention have ruined it for me.
