My Buell was stolen

MY buell was stolen. It was a blue Xb9sx 2005. It had no handguads a fendereliminator and a micron exhaust.

Just noticed our beloved site is a German location based site. The date, and time are set to Germany's settings. Pretty cool.

So roccordart please list where the bike was stolen from, city, state, and country.

Again sorry to here of your misfortune but I'd like to use this post to get some information.

I know pretty much any anti-theft device won't stop a real criminal from taking our bikes. Like some said, Locks prevent the honest from being dishonest.

What devices does anyone suggest using and what are a waste of money?

If you're leaving it outside, unattended - especially for nights - I like the idea of a perimeter alarm and the starter immobilizer some of them offer.

Don't get me wrong...love my bike. But if mine was stolen, would make my argument for a new 1125R or CR a lot stronger. Maybe i should start leaving the keys in it...maybe EVLXB can work with me on this.

I'm with you there bitter rod. I have under 1k miles to put onto my bike and off she goes want to sell her around 8500 miles, just before actual summer. Want to get the 1125R

I used to run into a TON of used parts at the track, dirt cheap. The OPP ( Ontario Provincial Police ) used to show up a couple of times a year and check out VIN numbers. They always found a couple of stolen bikes. I NEVER bought used stuff at the track, ya just know where it comes from. If you buy really cheap stuff from someone who doesn't have a bike to go with it, just imagine how you'll feel seeing your bike gone tomorrow morning. just my 2 cents, Wayne

I have seen it once. A bufddy of mine saw it once and my girlfrined has seen it once. This is killing me to know it is right under my nose.
