My Drive To SEMA

Figured you guys might enjoy this

This isn't going to be as great as kelvin's, Joe's, ADV1, etc drive story, but I figured some people might like it.

So last week I hit the road to drive our truck and trailer to Vegas for SEMA as we are were displaying the truck in our booth. But before SEMA I had a customer that was having his customer appreciation day before the show, same show I went to last year Here. After the show I drove down to Vegas and got everything setup, however I didn't stay the full week for SEMA and didn't get to take as many photos as I wanted to. But being on the road for over a week I just wanted to be home, so maybe next year I'll have a few better photos.

Goal was to make it to St.George Utah in a day. Was planning on leaving at 4 that morning but due to waiting on last minute parts, I didn't hit the road close to 8:30 Wednesday Morning

So right after the Frisco exit I notice trucks for about a mile parked on the side of the road, I get closer and the Highway Patrol shutdown the highway due to bad road conditions. So I and a few other people decide to take the back roads which was a bad idea. The roads were covered in snow and Ice, I had the truck in second gear and went no faster then 25mph. After a two hour trip through the hills and twisty roads I made it out with a filthy truck.

So after that ordeal I made it to Utah, found a Rest Area and took a two hour power nap. In total with the bad roads and my nap I made it to St. George Utah around 7:30 Thurday morning.

So after that long drive I wanted to get some rest before I went to see my customer. I checked into my hotel and the guy tells me I have a suite with a jacuzzi tub. Sweet! will until I saw my room :lol:. I travel alot and stay in alot of hotel rooms, but I think this one has to be that best one yet haha

Does this look like a fire hazard?

Yes the power cord is hard wired into the outlet

If not how about the microwave next to the jacuzzi tub which is right next to the bed :lol:

After I took a quick rest went over to see my customer. I notice they were working on Widomaker, they built a new twin turbo setup and wanted to see how far they could push the motor, so lets throw a dry shot at it

Finally here is Family Buziness. This truck has about 24 speakers plus 6 subs inside of it. Its sounds so crisp and clean when the volume is turned way up.

After the show I drove down to vegas and that following morning loaded up the bed of the truck and tried to get inside the convention center

Cool pictures !!!! We don't have anything that comes even close to that here in Quebec, Canada. You guys are lucky !!! Gotta love the farm truck too ! Saw couple of vids of that truck last week. Dicovered it by chance searching for something else on YouTube ! [up]
