It was a brisk 45 in St. Louis today, so I decided to take a spin with my new stuff.

-Pro-Taper bar (schoolboy lo)
-Rizoma Dynamic mirrors
-Buell Streetfighter seat

Fender elimination coming soon!

I love the new bar. The riding position is a bit more forward and the black looks much better. The mirrors will take some getting used to. The viewing area is much smaller than the stock ones, so that will take some adjusting. They look really nice, so I will get used to it. The seat feels about the same, but it gives the bike a cleaner look. So far I'm happy. Temp. above 55 would be real nice, yes I'm a wuss!!

They look sweet!!! The viewing area is much smaller than the Mickey Mouse ears. I think after some adjusting I will be able to see behind me better. The also vibrate much less than the stock. They are a bit pricey in my opinion, but I had some extra Christmas cash to blow.

like those bars rojo! i just got some pro tapers too, a little taller i think, how was the installation? easy? what kind of grips did you get? i heard you might have to drill a hole somewhere. anyway your bike looks sweet!good job.

I used my old grips (Italia something). The install wasn't to bad. Yes you do have to drill set point for the Ignition switch housing, and the lights/horn housing since they are both plastic. There was really no good way to measure, so I just eyed it up the best I could. The hardest part was to make sure you get the distance from the end of the bar correct. I took my time and was able to hit them both right on. Once you take the housing apart you will see what you have to do.

i put on pro taper bars but when it came to that pin i just cut it off
Found the pressure from tightening the screws held it in place pretty good

Yah, I considered cutting them off to. I decided the plastic housing would spin if it wasn't tight enough, and might break if I over tighten it. Good input for the next guy. Thanks
