Just bought an 06 a few days ago and been having a blast w/ it so far.

I got it pretty much stock and put the following:
-Special ops heat shield
-Jardine slip on
-Mirrycle bar end mirros
-removed rear pegs
-removed hand guards (not the huge bolts yet though)
-'03 XB9 Low seat

Going to do the headlight mod later today (already had someone give me the "you have a headlight out" comment, and looking for a fender eliminator w/ integrated LED signals (open to suggestions)

Dude, take off the rear reflectors.
No cop will notice and the tail will look way better.
btw the pipe looks sweet.

Very stupid question.....but how do you know if you have the titanium or aluminum Jardine?

Also, do you just take a hair dryer to the reflectors to melt the adhesive the same way you would as the warning stickers? What is good for cleaning up the forks aftwards?

use goo gone adhesive remover, at any local hardware store. as for the aluminum or titanium, there are no stupid questions only stupid answers and here is one...i don't know ...let me know when you find out...lol

Looks great. On my 9, got a set of rear blinkers and installed them in place of the front ones, they are shorter. Kept the frame pucks, saved the tank when bike was looped out. Installed a helmet lock in place of right buddy peg bracket. Sure are a fun bike. Cheers.
