I don't normally like when people paint the plastics, but that color looks awesome on there with the black wheels. Nice find and welcome. Make sure you tell us more about yourself and post some more pics

I agree with zero flat, there aren't more than a handful of painted Buell's that I really like, yet this one does look great!!!

I have always like that bike. If you don't mind me asking how much did you end up paying for it?

I ask because I saw that bike on craigslist when I was looking last year and the guy had a very high asking price which he was not willing to budge from. He had the bike up for sale for about 1.5 - 2 years if you just bought it now. I am thinking this bike is from the craigslist ad in Joliet. Is that where you got it from?

If so, maybe I will end up seeing you out on the highways around and in Chicago.

When first I saw the bike in person, I wasn't big on the orange. It was an overcast day and I thought the color was unique. The seller kept the bike in pretty good shape, so I figured if I bought it I'd change up the change up the body. I initially wanted a Lightning, but definitely wouldn't mind a Firebolt!

Well, the Lightnings I wanted were either bought before I could take a look at it or the the seller wouldn't return my email/texts. I figure if that orange Firebolt was still for sale I'd take it. When I picked it up the sun was out in full force and the color just popped!

I picked it up for 4K. In the Joliet (IL) area. I live in Berwyn, just west of Chicago. I planned on putting a lightning tail on, but the Firebolt tail is starting to grow on me. I might just pick one up anyway and switch it up every now and then. Doesn't seem like it would be too much of an issue to do.

I'm going to leave the orange. I like it a lot. I'm definitely going to change the indicator lights. Either stock or something a little more closer to the body. I'm def going to change it up. Even though I like it the way it is, I can't help myself.

I'll def put up more pics. i plan on keeping her for a while.
