My New Toy

Check out the new toy I just picked up today. Just wondering who else has a 500 two stroke. This is my project 1991 KTM 500MX. Gotta say it definitely lifts the front end easier than the Buell and is the first bike that has actually had the ability to scare me. It lifts the fron tire in every gear whether you want it to or not. haha
So much fun. Cant wait to get it in the woods

I bought this one so that I can make my wr450f street legal. Already got my plate and insurance so I just need tires and a lighting kit.

Haha I was one of those 4 stroke guys. And I will say that this is the first 2 stroke that I am satisfied with. the 125's and 250's are too slow. However this 500 makes my 450 look like a little kids toy.

Unfortunately the biggest dirt bike I've ridden is a RM250 with wiseco piston and pro circuit exhaust. Can't imagine what the 500 feels like. How about a video?

I just received my GoPro HD2 yesterday. I will be buying my SD card tomorrow and mounting it tomorrow as well. I will at least get a video of acceleration. Literally you crack the throttle and the tire doesn't come down til you grab the clutch and shift up then crack the throttle again and repeat. So far the front tire has gone up in 1st through 3rd and I haven't even tried to do so.

I was hoping for a title with the purchase but just a bill of sale. That means no supermoto for this bike but for $800 I couldn't pass up. Hell I could get at least $500 for the motor alone if I parted it out.

Sweet! I just got this big pig. 85 Suzuki sp600. 4 stroke single. Got a set of 03 yz250f forks for it too. Mine is gonna be more street oriented though (tard). I steer clear of them big 2 smokes for the street. Waaaaay too much power for my rookie azz. If I was playin' in the dirt though..........

I am only 21 so I was born into the 4-stroke generation.

its funny when people say that 2 strokes have no torque. that will happen when you compare a 2 stroke with half the displacement of a 4. Id much rather rip around on a 250 2T than a 250 4T.
