My Newest Toy

Some of you may have been wondering why I havent been all over the forum lately so I figured I would do a little show and tell. It says toy in the title but it is actually my DD. Enjoy and lets here what you think.

Well sold my car and Got a 2010 Tundra, first thing I did was 6" lift, 20" wheels, 37" tires, intake, muffler, system, and some other minor things but here is the outcome.

I still have my bagged S-10 Xtreme so the screen name still fits.

As far as the lottery, I just spend wisely. I got a great deal on everything, it always pays to know people who know people. One friend is a lift kit dealer, another is a manager at discount tire, I used to work at a truck access shop, and as far as all the other mods I used Ebay. Oh and all the labor was done by either myself or friends so that cut down costs greatly.

I got the truck with for 10K less than MSRP since there was an Employee discount, 2K rebate on Tundras and I haggled out another $1,500. All together got a 2010 4x4 for $29,000. Not to bad, then I used the rebate and $1,500 and some of my own cash to do the lift, wheels, tires, and other stuff.

Not sure if the bike will fit, truck is a bot to high, that is what the bagged s-10 is for.

The dunes are in Mears and Hart, Michigan in a state park, Silver Lake Dunes Area.

I want to go muddin BAAADDDD now. i had to sell my pride and joy (f150 with the 5.4 triton) a few years back to afford my incoming first born. I cried that day [sad] and haven't been off roading since. I've never been on sand dunes. Is it similar to snow? We use a buddies farm with a lot of trails and fields and field paths that double as great table tops and the landings are amazingly smooth. i'd hit these ramps anywhere from 80-95mph and just soar but the landing in 3-5 feet of snow you just gently come down gently bounce up a little and then you are back in control. I was going to buy another one but it was either a truck or a buell. . . I got me a Buell :0 )

Yeah was hoping to get in a couple more weekends if play in the dues before they close the state park at months end but I will be busy with school, weddings, and evrything else that will keep me on the road versus off.

i had a 1996 f150 with a 3inch skyjacker and 1inch body lift on 33s for abour 2 months, just sold it last week for my new baby, 5.4 triton crew cab lariat f150 (2001) with 6inch fabtech lift and 3inch body lift on bfg 35s! ha, she sits high but drives so smooth and comfy. almost sold my 04 lightning to have some more cash to put down on it but couldnt bring myself to do it, so i just went in deeper [sad]
