My tail lighting configuration is finished.

Finally got the LED's done on the tail.

- Motrax LED Signals
- Home Built 88 LED Running/Brake Light
- Light FX "Bolt FX" license plate bolts with white LEDs.
- Buell LED lighted License plate bracket.

What do ya'll think?

Don't pay any mind to the glow on the left side, that was my lens "artifacting" the bright light of the signal. The Brakes were not on in this picture.... Just the dim light of the running light LEDs (32 of them in an X pattern lit at half brightness. The Brakes light up all 88 of them at full brightness)

you should see the extra leftovers I have from doing that brake/running light. I found a website in Hong Kong that sells superbright LEDS REALLY cheap... as long as you can wait 3-4 weeks for them to ship over here and clear customs. LEDShoppe
Ordered 500 reds, 250 Ambers (never did use those) and 100 Whites. (had an aborted attempt at lighting the plate through the window in the tail light. It sucked so I went to the Bolt FX instead.)

All of those LEDs cost me like $22 shipped...
so if you know anyone that knows how to build electronic circuits, you can build an LED tail light like mine for around $30 total instead of paying XBLights $200+ for the same thing.

btw.. I forgot to mention above... if anyone else is interested in a DIY Tail light like mine above (I'll try to get a couple pics of the assembly itself)... let me know. I have literally 350+ of the RED LED's that I used for that above and will send them to ya for the cost of shipping... I can also provide some basic design and fab suggestions and support...
