the bar hopper chopper.

A '76 Honda cb750 motor in a Santee swingarm frame. It's rougher than I thought it was, half the motor is gone, and there is a lot more rust than I thought.

I'm currently stripping it down for paint, and need ideas on what I should do with it. Colors, theme, etc.

I'm thinking gloss black and chrome, or is that played out? Maybe some sort of rat-ish look to it?

I just got rid of one of these projects. It was a 77 cb 750, extended forks by frank, modified rear suspension mounting to sit lower. Leaked gas, was loud as hell, was ugly, but it was fun!

Damn, that IS ugly! My other one, I thought it was too nice to chop, so I painted the tank and sidecovers and kept it a nice rider. I have a stock seat on it now, much more comfortable than that big square one in the picture.
