My XB12R (05) Died and wont run?!?

I Have a Firebolt xb12R 2005, I ride alot and just bought this firebolt about 3 months ago with 19,000 on it. tuned it up and it has been problem free. was out the other day and it had a slight mild sputter. just at random. Started it today and it ran ruff then back fired, ran a little more and back fired again. Then Died. I primed the pump again and it fired up idoled and then died again. Now it wont start unless I let it sit for 15+mins. Any Ideas? I want to ride and my Harley dealer takes forever to get me parts?

Just try a simple tps reset that may actually fix the problem and is simple and easy to do.

Any check engine lights? you didn't say so probably not. That's a tough one to pinpoint over the internet. I would lean towards relays under the l/s cover. Mine has done something like this a few times. I would have to swap them around to get home, then its off to the parts store. Its a relatively cheap troubleshooting step to take. Other than that its time to start checking **** off the list one by one, updating us to help you pinpoint it
