So has anybody used Nitrogen in their tires? Is it worth it? Pros cons or is it all hogwash. Any info will be appreciated.

Nitrogen for the average user would be a scam. I read that some aircraft and race cars use it because of a more consistent expansion and contraction rates with extreme temp changes ie; racing and flying. if you did happen to need a tire fixed or changed only select tire shops are going to carry nitrigen which makes filling your tires at a gas station pointless

Gotcha I live in Chicago and our temp flux make tire pressure a pain at times. Was just wondering as theirs a shop offering it @ 7 a tire.

atmosphere is 71% percent N... Just saying...

We use it aircraft because at 40,000' out side temps are around -50, at landing speeds of nearly 200 mph tire temps are around 180*F(NOTE: thermal overrides for tires depends greatly on aircraft IE, a 767 blows at 195*F while a 777 blows at 210*F)
