What's up guys and non-guys, I'm Chris. Friday I acquired an 03 XB9R from another member here (GAXB9R) and I pretty much love the bike. I'm a recovering mustang addict, been clean and sober from the stangs for almost a week. I had a 97 mustang gt in laser red with the 248a package. I'm no noob to forums in general, I'm a veteran from a few local forums even was a super mod for our largest local site importatlanta.com. Seems like a great place here, see y'all around!

I always feel like somebody got sloppy seconds when they join the forum with a bike they purchased from another member....

Kidding! Welcome to the forum man! His bike looked clean from his for sale post! I know you will have a lot of fun on it!
 
Thanks guys! Hope to meet with you all soon and get some riding done! The only real plans I have for the bike is to fix the few minor issues with it, clean it up, maintain it and ride the piss out of it. Joe has done a great job of getting it to where it is and there's a ton of life left in it! [up]

Welcome to the forum and 'grats on the bike! If I were looking for another Buell I'd probably want to buy it from a fellow member if I could, so good deal.

How have you managed to quit Mustangs LOL ? I have an '85 Gt vert and a '13 coupe. And what's the 248A package?
 
I've already welcomed you on Joe's thread but I'll give you an official welcome here! [up] There's quite a few Mustang addicts on this site (and some haters as well). I'm one of them (hence the name). If you ever need anything for the bike just ask on the forum...Lots of great people here always willing to help out a fellow Bueller!

Glad to see another GA rider. I'm in the Alpharetta/Cumming area, just north of Atlanta. Have fun with the bike...there is a ton of good info on this site.

The 248a package was done in 96-97 and is the same as the GTS package from 94-95. It's basically a v6 base chassis and interior stripped of all the comfort features to save as much weight as possible with all of the GT mechanical bits. Only things that came standard with that package was AC, power steering and power mirrors. Everything else was optioned. Mine had factory optioned cruise control, rear spoiler and the shaker 500 stereo. Had a hand full of mods, nothing crazy but it was a fun car! I really like the look of the '13's but I'm a broke mofo. Haha

Passed a guy either on a blast or s1 couldn't really tell on hwy 81 in McDonough yesterday afternoon. Bike was purple.
